TT TapToCount

Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how TapToCount handles information while keeping the tool fast, private, and simple.

No account required

You can use the tally counter without creating an account. The website does not require a username, password, profile, or login to count.

Counter values and localStorage

Counter names, values, active counter selection, sound preference, and dark mode preference may be stored in your browser localStorage. This helps your counters remain available after a refresh on the same browser and device.

localStorage is controlled by your browser. You can remove saved counters by clearing site data, clearing browsing data, or using private browsing modes that discard local state.

Contact form

If you submit the contact form, the name, email address, and message you provide may be processed so we can respond or improve the tool. The included Laravel Livewire form shows validation and logging as an implementation example.

Cookies and analytics

This lightweight implementation does not require analytics packages or advertising scripts. If analytics are added later, they should be configured with clear disclosure and privacy-focused settings.

Critical counting

This tool is intended for convenience and everyday use. It should not replace certified counting systems where errors could cause safety, legal, financial, medical, or compliance consequences.
